Capricorn 15° (January 6)

We had breakfast with A. at Canteen on Arnold Circus. It was kind of a boring breakfast but the waiter was handsome so that made it sort of better. I think he has a crush on A. and vice versa I’m thinking about the time we drove through France to Bourg Charente and came to a toll booth and the attendant was basically a seventeen-year-old model. Only in France. Anyway, we took a little stroll to Columbia Road with A. then back down to Bethnal Green road where we parted ways. S. has a chat with Doctor Kimberly. We skip lunch as breakfast is still with us and we are having a big dinner, probably. S. goes to get her hair did just right around the corner after we attempt to find food at Sainsbury’s (no) and on Brick Lane (also no). But I did get some pizza at Roma which will sustain me until tonight. We are feeling that maybe there is no food in this part of the city and might eventually have to go to White Chapel, which is fine, I guess. We are having dinner at Brawn tonight with P + M—we are meant to go to Emile but they are closed. They are not drinking at all but no matter. We have a lovely meal and time with them as we always do.
