Taurus 19° (May 9)

I don’t understand much of what’s what these days. And today I must take a sharp turn in the right direction which I will do. I need to rid my system of any excess now and begin a bit of a recovery and the thing is I really want to. I am going to take a nice long walk as well I think. Time to get out the old tide chart. And now some more astro thoughts:

She risks heaping negative attention on her daughters especially while have an awe for sons whom she mostly leaves to their own devices, sending the message that the male spawn can do no wrong while her female offspring need extra care and assistance, which is a projection of her own feelings as a girl growing up. Virgo does well to directly address her fears of parenting with support groups or even therapy. If any woman in the zodiac were to drift into Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy territory it would most likely be the Virgo, who, in family life, tends not to be the most chill of characters. As in most aspects of her life, she tends to overthink, overmanage and overdo, which serves her well in her career, but not in the confines of her home. Though it’s generally true for everybody that they should love what they do, professionally, for the Virgo it is absolutely crucial. She is a supermotivated team player, happiest working behind the scenes, but otherwise in charge of operations. She is the consummate major domo in all aspects of life, so it is best for her to allow her control-freak flag fly at work, so she does it forever wave it on the home front. Something of which Virgo needs reminding—and reading this right now, Virgo, you’re likely to dismiss this assessment—is that she is most often the smartest individual in the room. The few of you out there nodding your heads in agreement likely had parents whose default opinion, based on experience, was that girls tend to be smarter than boys on the whole. It will always be difficult for the Virgo to have, as she most often does (for some reason) just one male sibling who, whether a genius or rather thick will steal familial focus. But if Virgo has a number of siblings, and especially if they are all males, she will be crowned queen smarty pants and take on an exalted role, alongside her parents, as an authority figure to be heeded and revered. Still, being labelled “the responsible one” had have its serious downsides because it often entails not being given the kind of emotional support that her more needy siblings might garner. Also, being seen by her parents as autonomous from a young age actually makes it difficult for Virgo to accept attention, support, and even love when it is in the offing come adulthood. In the musical Jesus Christ Superstar the Virgo character archetype Mary Magdalene sings “I Don’t Know How To Love Him”, while, in life, many women of the sign everywhere are forever silently crooning: I don’t know how to let myself be loved by him, her or them.
