The flood myth is a metaphor for recovery—Noah was a drunk—which we are all in all the time. Cancer people often start life feeling at sea, ultimately finding and securing safe harbor, which is an inside job. And we typically have to leave, to lose ourselves to find ourselves. To separate ourselves from any prior conditioning that we’re no longer feeling.
