Aquarius 0° (January 21)

It is a choice to be stressed. As the world burns. We will get up very early and go down for a greasy breakfast. I am chugging orange juice. In anticipation of some alone time, I try to get some work done, which isn’t easy, because someone keeps talking to me. It’s fine. I got to go for a lovely swim yesterday but I won’t get there today. I will make up for it tomorrow that is for sure. I hope I shall be the only one down there. Let us hope. I will take an Uber with a giant bag to Pascale’s—to my surprise she will be home. It will be a quick hello as I have a haircut appointment. It will be funny in that the cutter, Greg, and I had a little bit of a run in when I was last over in June. I think it was June. The haircut went quickly. They have to perform haircuts in half-hour intervals which is weird. We even argued over what time I arrived. He is a Virgo contrarian. I met Jeremy Goldstein at Sadlers Wells. I wanted to take a picture of the two of us but forgot. We went to the Harlequin for a drink and had a grand time. He is broke. I gave him some tube money. S. and I headed over to Luca which was very corporate. The food was great but the environment sterile. One didn’t sink into the chairs but sort of balanced atop, both literally and figuratively. I did try my Italian on the waiter as best I could. You might have noticed I’ve switched from future perfect to past tense, and may be teetering and toggling between them all. I had a sort of crab crostini and a nice bit of nouvelle cuisine sized lamb bites. The wine was good and we had tiramisu. They are filming a movie here called Operation Mincemeat with Colin Firth and Kelly MacDonald. I do have a lot on my mind besides that, make no mistake. We are attempting to hit all our marks and we should have some success in doing so (I think). I’m looking forward to coming back to London for that final week in March. I need to make sure I get Jahid’s email so to work at the details. It will be crucial that we come back. I’m hoping that six weeks of yoga will put me in good stead. We have to work out all the D+M situation because we don’t want to leave that too too long. I have much to accomplish in these coming weeks, and I want to reach out to more resources than the winery. I think we have to let a few clients go and make room for those who are more conscientious. As we get busier it becomes more important.

I should talk to Brian about representing me at shows in February and March. Also about Edinburgh. Can we do a small run of tee-shirts for Valentine’s Day. “Seeing Red”. I did reach out to John and David but have heard zilch back so I think I’ll let that go. I am trying to isolate some ideas, still, for these, text boxes but I’m not doing that great a job of it. I’m hoping this is what the Eurostar will bring me. There is so much to juggle in any case and I need to get the consultancy moving. I also think there is a way to bring everything into focus by way of this Blague. And still to alight on all the synchronicities. No matter what happens we have to recognize that magic. For instance the Madelbach people contacting us, thinking we are in New York, but we are in London where they just so happen to be based. We will see them tomorrow. Pascale has invited us to dinner and we shall accept. It will be nice to just hang out with family; at this point I’m hoping it will be just us.

To view the original Sabian Symbol themed 2015 Cosmic Blague corresponding to this day: Flashback! The degree pointof the Sabian Symbol will be one degree higher than the one listed for today. The Blague portrays the starting degree of for this day ( 0°,  for instance), as I typically post in the morning, while the Sabian number corresponds to the end point (1°) of that same 0°-1° period. There are 360  degrees spread over 365 or 6 days per year—so they near but not exactly correlate.
