Day Sixteen E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Steamers + Spinach. Finalizing Astro documentation. More chats with Mike. I’m obviously working on stuff all day and packing I can’t imagine what else I might be doing. It’s Christmas and I stubbled upon Neal Polonsky’s name. He lives in Santa Fe still apparently. So weird not to hear from a single soul.Came upon this too: “Art is made for human perceptions. Illumination and warmth are terms easily used in the description of a person who’s face gives us a feeling of description of light what do we see where we look into the face of a person but our own gods our demons and ourselves?

Virgo 5° (August 27)

Day Fifteen E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Tuna Martini. Another night at the bar at Mac’s. Just today (which is Christmas) put on glasses that I ordered on this actual day from Peepers. It looks like more of the same in my world, going through belongings, figuring out stuff,  I can’t possibly know now in hindsight what every moment was for. So I’m working some magic on this end instead.I came across this list of songs dating back to when Chris drager and I used to sing them together um so this means late 80s mid 80s late 80s the list includes sweet young thing a song called indications which I guess we’ve wrote song called dilemma too late and then swing low sweet chariot going down the road some kind of jungle bundle Blues something band-aids I have no idea um strange sounds in the night Ring of Fire and I’m a believer I guess we mash into one song circles sky season of the witch the lady don’t mind something called Crimson tree and what goes on. I also found written on New York social calendar stationery some kind of jumble of words there might be a poem in here somewhere I will have to get some magnifying glass I think in order to read this which I can do right now actually .I found this song:

Black shirt suits me on a day like this

Virgo 4° (August 26)

Day Fourteen E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Oysters, Pasta w/ Clams. Once again I see myself at Mac’s in the evening. I see on this day too that I took a bunch of pictures, still giving her the opportunity to respond. So much wasted time. So much hurt. So many words with lawyers. It is all such a bore. Pictures of her pop up everyday because rarely did I ever take pictures of anybody else. And now onto old poems and other writing:

Rope (circa early 1990s)

Virgo 3° (August 25)

Day Thirteen E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Oysters, Halibut + Risotto. It’s Christmas still. By the food I ate this day it is clear I end up back at Mac’s.  I try to remember what I felt like at this time. I correspond with the Astro Scapes crew, I try to reach Jonathan about mortgage stuff. I’m working out things with the horrible Doug. I have some back and forth with Shinnick. At some point I will put all these pieces of my life altoghether. I would love to get a house somewhere I can buy something outright. Four clients would be thirty K. A book deal might be another fifty. I literally need a two room cottage somewhere fantastic. I can sell it later. Just some place to put my dolls and dishes as people used to say. Anyway I stumbled upon some Leo thoughts: This works for the Leo man on a number of levels. His trademark confidence itselfOpens doors. There is never a whiff of desperation or even suggestion of a need in his for others too offer acceptance or approval or desired green lights and he’s not about to jump through hoops or work too hard to convince anyone of his abilities or to to provide him with breaks or legs up embodies being more and doing less one cannot reprimand the Leo and it’s he’s not looking for favors he is offering himself as one . Being so sure of himself and at ease leader who could easily head up project to department a team company or whole industry. On the flip side he isn’t one to much consider in what areas he has need for improvement which can be specifically difficult in his personal relationships. He is disposed to call the shots in his love bonds sometimes without even being aware of this default dynamic.  leo will have A lot of free reign in love relationships and family life expecting others to revolve around his schedule and he won’t make the kinds of compromises others necessarily feel they have to when settling into a long term commitment. He understands early in life what his interests and indulgences might be and he will continue to prioritize solo pursuits over those of familial demand. That naturally assuring Leo feels nary a need to make alterations to his lifestyle even as he may ascend to great success and become an increasingly higher earner many Leo man might been making major bank without others even knowing it as he often needs convincing to make upgrades to his living conditions preferring to sock it away for rainy days then squander on so-called luxuries he tends to be a man of simple tastes.

Virgo 2° (August 24)

Day Twelve E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Lobster, Corn, Steamers, Asparagus @ Dave + Alison. So it’s actually Christmas as I write this. On the actual day I drove to Alison’s for the first time, bring some beers and some kind of snack I don’t remember. I arrive and the back yard of the house slopes down to a pond where they were swimming. I met her mother and daughter. The mother had a really strong personality. I bonded easily. Dave and I cooked, well first undercooked, lobster on the grill which the mother soon rightly pointed out needed way more time. There were steamers but I really didn’t have any. My overall interior is super, super sad. I miss my life so much more sometimes when in the company of other people, which is meant to draw you out. Better alone where all that is missing is the other person you love so well, but otherwise surroundings and self even can be familiar. So I have this idea of filling in over a hundred Blagues ahead between today and Christmas, which includes “reading” papers in, using the dictation button with which I want to refamiliarize myself. Also making a poetry document because I have folders filled with old documents. I’ve also thought about scanning them in; but I think it will be better to have them on word. I just super need to get a good tech guy in place to help me organize myself. I will also have so much jammed into storage that I will need to use the winter, spring and summer to start ridding myself, through sales or what have you, of this excess. I can surely sell out of the facility if need be, especially the bigger items. “Even just a decade agoa young crop of friends could come to Provincetown and as a group rent a house and all get jobs waiting tables often at two restaurants at a time, or landscaping, doing dune tours, whale watches, working in a shop or driving a taxi or any such thing. Nothing really cost anything. Now it’s been so bought and sold. It would be nice to find another picturesque village where one could hang his hat and winter rental in town. I think that will be my goal. I want a tiny place in a beautiful spot by the sea. Et basta.

Virgo 1° (August 23)

Day Eleven E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Oysters + Sirloin Steak, Potatoes, Spinach. I need to make a list of what I need to discuss with the dog walker. First thing I need to do is confirm the signing and what he wants from the get go. The second thing I need to do is discuss is the bringing over things by hand. The third thing I need to know is the timing on getting keys. The next thing I need to know is about the storage above in the rafters and the storage below decks. Was meant to send me some kind of package. It will be kind of a blurry month ahead I feel but that is the way the cookie crumbles. There really is no way around it. Lots of sleepless nights. Just the way it goes. Been eating out most nights because it’s too damn hard to make meals for myself. I am obviously in a depression still and will be for quite some time I’m sure of that. How can I not be? The love of my life left me and it’s not like I’m going to snap my fingers and be over it. What I can’t anticipate is how much more painful it will be and how much more difficult others will make it. There seems to be such a disconnect between those I thought I knew and who they really are.
