Day Twenty Six E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Steve Carrel dream. Went to MAC’s cod and mashed potatoes. MN has completely dissed me in regard to working on websites. The damage continues to amass. I’m still being treated like a criminal of sorts and, despite the fact that accusations have been hurled at me regarding defamation, it might seem that the slander is on the other foot. I mean, there is no reason why I am being personally and professionally shunned in this process. All I ever do is sing praises and yet I have been awarded pariah status in several parts. It is not making me happy to say the least. Maybe some more poetry is called for:

What a bunch of crap is this

how long they expect me to stay.

I walk in intent on rifling

my way through but I am

made to wait

I perceive my actions

to fulfill my needs

I will take these vilified feelings and wrap myself up in them as if they are a blanket, a shield against mere elemental forces. I will get my mind back to the poetics of the thing I will write every day. I will work on my memoirs and on all my materials. I will look at the 2020 Blagues for insight into what is or isn’t a good story for tha annals. I will work through the issues. I will write books I hope. I will afford a place in the country to put all my earthly belongings, from which I can still continue to live in Ptown and/or travel.

Day Twenty Five E.D.A.N.O.W.W. I woke up this morning and was quite thrilled that a bunch of emails had been returned. I made the comment that it was the happiest day I encountered in these plus two months. Happy, well, that isn’t quite accurate. More so to say not completely depressed beyond belief. Virgo 11° (September 2)

Day Twenty One E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Oysters, Steak, Mash and Spinach. I’m in the zone. I’m just going to keep posting astrological ideas then go to Mac’s to hang with my peeps. Ah, Solstice. With the start of Capricorn, the days start getting longer, and, as we slowly celebrate the return of light, we make our new year’s resolutions. Capricorn advocates for keeping it real and doing what we can do in the present to have lasting effects. It is the sign of endurance, posterity and a certain slice of eternity. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, “Old Father Time”, named for the Titan god of the mythic Golden Age, the “grandfather” of the gods who, with his wife, Rhea (her name means “ease”), are endlessly retiring. The sign and it’s timely resolutions are about retiring certain aspects of self which no longer serve as we mature and grow. On that magical old TV show “Bewitched” Samantha’s parents personify Saturn and Rhea. Even her mother’s name, Endora, portrays the enduring nature of this cosmic archetype. And just as you wouldn’t mess with her, or her errant hubby, you should think twice before crossing a mighty Capricorn witch or warlock.

In ancient times, this week was celebrated as Saturnalia, festival of the god Saturn whose namesake planet rules this sign of Capricorn. Coincidence? We think not. The Saturs (English Satyrs) were goat gods and insatiable in their appetites; and Saturnalia was all about indulgence, feasting, intoxication and orgies. Some unlucky candidate was force fed then sacrificed in a ghastly scapegoat ritual, the ancients believing they were destroying the forces of darkness in killing off some innocent person. Thus the bonfires, the Yule log, and decorating with candles and with wreaths and boughs of holly, garlands and, of course, trees—bringing the outside inside was a topsy turvy way to recognize the the life force in the deadest, darkest time of year. Masters would wait on servants during festival, an aristocratic tradition in Britain and elsewhere that exists to this day. Reversal was seen as a necessary element to enact in celebration at this time of year. So you might ask yourself what needs switching up. And how, at this darkest time of year, you can spark new signs of liveliness in yourself that can manifest with the new year. And what can you rid yourself of and mindfully sacrifice without making any ritual killings that is.

Ring-ring-a-ling. We’d like to propose a toast: Here’s to the lads and ladies who do unto others as they would have…well you get the idea. The Golden Rule is the simplest to live by, but it isn’t the easiest. Look to yourself this holiday season, check your intentions, and take responsibility for your actions and try to keep your side of the sidewalk shoveled. This most magical time of the year allows you to work some real sorcery all your own. Capricorn restraint (and whatever resolution you have planned) doesn’t mean denying yourself anything; it’s about freeing yourself from the unseen forces (a/k/a our conditioning) that make us do and think and say things that aren’t true expressions of who we are. This only makes us feel in conflict and divided. When in doubt, evoke that Rule, and ritualize the Yuletide as a time of certain atonement, that is to say at-one-ment.

Good Tidings! The annular solar eclipse happened overnight, and it is all about fresh starts and putting new plans in motion for the future. And here we are setting off on a new journey of our own. Good Tithings! It is Boxing Day and we have just landed in London where this holiday means something. It’s origin is hinged on putting together “Christmas boxes” for servants and vendors and other such workers on whom more posh folks habitually rely. So it is about expressing appreciation and giving back, things we can do today whereever we might be. Every year, S+C do a ritual tithe, where we provide our private-consultancy services to a few folks for free. To be honest it feels like the most selfish thing to do, because it inspires such a sense of warmth and well-being. So here we are: Taking appointments for the next month in London before settling into Paris, our European HQ, to see even more clients, so many of whom work in fashion and design.

Virgo 10° (September 1)

Day Twenty E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Oysters, Caesar, Lobster Mash. Afterglow work. Perhaps I am liking the way things are shaping up. After all there isn’t much ado about nothing at all. I have the opportunity to make a new life for myself, something I am not realizing on this Blague date, but something I shall begin to get my brain around in the coming months. It’s all good. I am doing a three week jump start like nobody has ever done a three week jump start. I need to get off of it all and tomorrow is the perfect day to dive deep into self care and such. Pasta is a life saver in a pinch. Really it is going to be about kicking into Keto kind of all of a sudden. I suppose things are still possible to achieve. The Capricorn moved forward (direct) IN healing from the past. The scar being a symbol of healing, here seen in a positive life. That Capricorn takes the movement of healing to push forward further than they might have without that momentum.

Capricorn takes the pulpit position, in full faith, delivering others from the depths to the heights, back and forth, back and forth. 

The classic Capricorn archetype is Rhea, the sister-wife of Cronus, (Roman: Saturn), namesake of the planet ruler of the sign. Rhea is an anagram of her “daughter” Hera, (Roman: Juno), who with her brother-husband, Zeus, (Greek: Jupiter), inherits the kingdom of heaven (Olympus) and the chiefdom of the gods. Fearing a prophecy he’d be overthrown, Cronus gobbled up five of his six kids, but when Rhea delivered her youngest, Zeus, she hid him away and swaddled up some stone for Saturn to swallow. In the form of a She-Goat (Amaltheia) Rhea nursed her child who grew up to fulfill the prophecy, with his newly regurgitated siblings by his side. And just as Capricorn man and women differently manifest the energy of their sign, if not being diametrically opposed, Cronus-Saturn is struck down, deposed and dissident, while Rhea rises up. There was always human and other sacrifices going on during this time of year. Rhea’s passing the torch to Dionysus is a mythic allegory of renunciation. Called Rhea-Cronus, it is where we get the word crone. Making peace with life’s ephemeral nature ironically allows Capricorn women to glimpse eternity and foster an enduring legacy.

Virgo 9° (August 31)

Day Nineteen E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Omelet, Hot Dogs. Afterglow Outreach. Need to look up this day and decide how and why I have double beer charges. Make this day something! Hoorah.There is no hoorah. What I see is that I stayed home this day and did a bunch of work on the festival. I still find it viable but who knows, right? I will never betray any confidences. I’m loving my new friends. My relationship with S. T-F. will also prove to be another lost failure. You know I’m getting a bit weary of being thrown by the wayside. Anyway I’m still finding poems from the late eighties early nineties. Only (it being Christmas) I took a nap and my eyesight is shit on top of it all. I’m just going to do my level best to put things down as I think of them. Thoughts through my head: More meeting. A put together an update on the collection. Completely unacceptable that I have been excommunicated from my own realm. We know from your thingy that you want me out, but it wasn’t a fait accomplis. I am half proprietor, not only that, I contributed more to the company to date than anyone. I conceived of the relaunch with Seb a jewelry consultant. Through him we met an agent who hooked us up with both our designer and a company that helped create the numbers portion of our business plan. I wrote the entire narrative of the business plan myself while someone got masters. I created all the landscape elements for the hero pieces of the collection. I conceived of the elements that should be on our charm necklaces, down to which botanical element should be assigned to each sign. And then: I need to make a list of what I need to discuss with the dog walker. First thing I need to do is confirm the signing and what he wants from the get go. The second thing I need to do is discuss is the bringing over things by hand. The third thing I need to know is the timing on getting keys. How much do you want up front? The next thing I need to know is about the storage above in the rafters and the storage below decks. Was meant to send me some kind of package. Do I need apartment insurance. Ask him about the bedframe size.

Virgo 8° (August 30)

Day Eighteen E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Chicken Stew. I’ve obviously been staying in, staying put. So just to fill you guys in: it is actually still Christmas Day, four months into the future. I want to buy this place I’m living in so freaking much. I actually love it. I must find a way to re-rent it. I really must. I’m tempted to off myself with gummies which I realize isn’t a thing. Look, this process is going way longer than I thought it would. And yet, by the way I’m uncovering my poetry, I’m so gladdened. I want to create the structure for the book

I know for sure that the day I go to Florent and spend all that time and get robbed that that is a day that stands out in infamy and it does have a place in the conversation. Obviously I have a compulsion to write. I guess it started with correspondence and having my own stationery as a child it was this long blue letterhead that said, at the top, “Hello from Billy” (I’m sure I have some still somewhere). I don’t know what is happening to me exactly in real time. I’ll open the Nov Dec Blague to find out. I’m confusing you. I’m upset and so may you be.

Virgo 7° (August 29)

Day Seventeen E.D.A.N.O.W.W. Turkey Cheese Sandwich. .I obviously go nowhere today. I’m glad this time remained a blur. The thing is I was threatened with defamation. I was threatened with action for erroneously threatening to destroy property none of which I ever did. I cam across something dating back to late eighties or early nineties: “Dear Lynne, Whatever comes from this our lives I know that you’ll exceed quote survive End Quote and sorta heights that you await in time you’ll see yourself as great as I do. Having been passed out of this I saw but I can but say goodbye and kiss your mouth once more before you go and hope that without doubt you know I love you the best thing I can do for us put focus on myself and trust that if our love is meant to be then one day soon you’ll be with me forever End Quote. How prescient is all of this? Crazy. And then I came across this a list of things I’m going to do I guess this is after she left in the 90s I have no idea but it says quote sublet your apartment bye Volkswagen busts park it parking old friends driveways give it all away give it all to us sell the fabulous furniture for three times what you paid take odd jobs free fall join us in The Cave stay there for a year moving working out your muscles pursuing your art not obsessing on anything final 

Your hair will grow your veins expand you’re something will deepen more strong in the more strong in time it’s a very strange poem of sorts and then there’s a list of stores on contacting so I guess this is yes this is during the time when Lynn left the first time how interesting Yep then there’s another poem or something 

The Touch In The Finger

Finally at the end 

of this nagging turmoil

of constant physical

searing tugs in the soul

my actual heart and newline vanishing veins

the spontaneous moment

when I drove my finger

into my heart

I’m sure

as willingly as unsuspected

quite literally

pointing it into essence

of ailment long suffered

and the point of this contact

was felt

alternately

in it

picking up

the pulse

in power

like a

touch

being

kept

one.
